Academic Mobility and Exchange

Elena Lisitsyna and Zarina Gatina (the students of Elena Vishlenkova) are currently the post-graduate students of the Chair for Russian/Asian Studies at the University of Munich. During 2019-2021, they will write a PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. Renner. Elena Lisitsyna's research topic is connected with the physicians involved in large sea voyages. Zarina Gatina’s thesis is focused on the influence of medical-topographical descriptions on the administrative practices of the Russian Empire.
