Alexandra Kolesnik participated in the international interdisciplinary conference "Vth Meeting of Young Researchers in Modern and Contemporary History" (panel “The Past at the Crossroads. Experience, Critique and Historical Imagination”) at Autonomous University of Barcelona (July 15–17).

Alexandra Kolesnik participated in the international interdisciplinary conference "Vth Meeting of Young Researchers in Modern and Contemporary History" (panel “The Past at the Crossroads. Experience, Critique and Historical Imagination”) at Autonomous University of Barcelona (July 15–17). The conference was organized by Contemporary History Association and the Department of Modern and Contemporary History, Autonomous University of Barcelona. Alexandra presented a paper ‘Heroic history’ in British popular music culture of the 1980s: heavy metal case based on the analysis of the historical imagery of the 1980s British heavy metal.
