Educational programmes
"Artes Liberales" together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland provided monthly stipends to foreign students, visiting the Institute for research work. Such stipends were given to some graduate and post-graduate students of the Higher School of Economics.
"Artes Liberales" also conducted a regular The East-Central European School in the Humanities (Miedzynarodowa Szkole Humanistyczna Europy Srodkowo-Wschodniej - MSH), and some sessions of the School were organized by IGITI staff. The purpose of the School was to disseminate modern theories and methodologies in the humanities and, primarily, to support the development of a new generation of scholars in the disciplines still neglected in East-Central European countries.

Today HSE implements a joint Master's programme 'Cultural and Intellectual History: Between East and West', in collaboration with the Faculty of "Artes Liberales" (University of Warsaw) and the Institute for Slavic Studies (University of Cologne). The programme offers the opportunity to study the history of the cultural and intellectual interaction between the East and Western Europe from the Middle Ages to the present day. Irina Savelieva and Julia Ivanova of IGITI are members of Academic Council of the Master's programme.
