The Construction of the Past and Forms of Historical Culture in Contemporary Urban Spaces

The project is dedicated to the study of various practices of modern cities residents historical identity formation in the context of the urban environment historicity complication and a continually expanding range of ways to use it. This study is the first stage of a large project "Formation of the modern historical culture: the past as a socio-political determination factor", which will be implemented by IGITI in 2014-2015. The overall objective of all stages of the project is to analyze different types of past representations involvement into social action, and these types dependence on the temporal experience fixation means, structures and forms of communication in different social environments.
