A working paper by Lizaveta Lysenka is published online

Research assistant Lizaveta Lysenka has published the working paper «Pesniary and the heritage discourses in Belarus». 

The main focus of the working paper «Pesniary and the heritage discourses in Belarus» is on the various practices of heritage that exist in contemporary Belarus. The case for analysis is the renowned Soviet-Belarusian vocal-instrumental ensemble "Pesniary". The research is carried out within the framework of the critical heritage studies, therefore, the confrontation and interrelation between the authorized, self-authorized and unauthorized heritage discourses are taken into consideration.
