Olessia Kirtchik took part in roundtable discussion “Scaling and (re)counting Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe”

The roundtable was organized as part of the annual venture named “Scales, Norms, and Limit Values in Times of (Digital) Change”, jointly organized by The Society for the History of Technology (GTG) and the Society for the History of Science, Medicine and Technology (GWMT). The venture took place between 17-19 September 2021 in Vienna.

The roundtable was organised by History of Science in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (HPS.CESEE), and was focused on critical historical consideration of practices of measurement/scaling, quantification, and constructing of indicators in Central and Eastern Europe.
